DD2 Announces 12 Schools Meet Federal & State Criteria to Provide Free Meals to Students

Twelve schools in Dorchester School District Two have met federal and state criteria to start providing free school meals to their students, effective Friday, September 1, 2023.

Meeting eligibility set by the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act, 10 schools will join Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School and RISE Academy in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program for the 2023-2024 school year.

Students at these 12 schools do not have to complete forms to receive free breakfast and lunch meals.

  • Eagle Nest Elementary School
  • Flowertown Elementary School
  • Gregg Middle School
  • Newington Elementary School

  • River Oaks Middle School
  • Spann Elementary School
  • Summerville Elementary School
  • Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School
